I got a dehumidifier for the first time last summer! I really agonized over getting one. I kept putting it off for years, wondering, "If we have an air conditioner, is it really necessary?" But after using it, I wondered why I hadn't bought it sooner😆 Now it has become a summer essential in our house! If an air conditioner feels like it just lowers the temperature, a dehumidifier feels like it changes the sticky, stuffy air inside the house! Just controlling the humidity makes the perceived temperature feel much lower, and keeps the bedding and laundry nice and dry, making summer much more pleasant.
