#같이사는집 🐾 A Home Living with Lala We adopted Lala when she was about two years old, and before we knew it, nine years have passed since we first came to be together… (Unbelievable time). Since we adopted Lala, the most important thing for my husband and me has been her joint health. That is why we have consistently used dog stairs so she can climb on and off the sofa or bed. This is because the repetitive act of jumping can put a strain on her joints. When browsing social media, you often see videos where people make their dogs stand on their hind legs or stand like humans just because they think it is cute. However, we have never once made her do that. "Protect our Lala's legs at all costs!" That is our family's rule. Haha. In our previous home, we lived in a 10-pyeong (approx. 33 sq ft) Happy Housing unit, so we had no choice but to use a high bed frame due to a lack of storage space. However, after moving to this new home, the first thing we did was replace it with a low-profile bed frame. It has become much easier for Lala to climb on and off, and as her guardians, we feel much more at ease. Also, we always keep Lala's favorite cushion right in the center of the house, in a spot where we are visible from any angle. It always brings a smile to my face when I see her resting comfortably while checking to see where the family is. Pugs are sensitive to heat, so temperature management is important. That is why we installed a ceiling fan in this house. Using it in conjunction with the air conditioner has greatly improved air circulation, and I am satisfied because Lala seems to be living in a much more comfortable environment. A pretty house is nice, but for us, a home where Lala can live safely and comfortably is more important.
