After decorating and living in our newlywed home, I’ve compiled a list of renovations that were definitely worth the money! 1. Ceiling Fan Just turning on the ceiling fan keeps the house cool enough that we don't need to turn on the air conditioner. It feels like a natural breeze, so it makes you fall asleep easily 🍃. It’s a total lifesaver that also helps with ventilation! 2. Pillar Construction Preserving Existing Logs These are the log pillars that were there when we moved in! They are sturdy and didn't have a single scratch even after several years. I really wanted to preserve them, so after considering various methods, we decided to build a platform to save them! Now, they are the mood maker of our home. 3. Hujent Since it offers both hot and cold temperatures, we use the air conditioner in the summer and the heater in the winter while showering 💕. The fact that it even removes moisture is a total bonus!! 4. Auxiliary Kitchen We designed an auxiliary kitchen in the back veranda, so we wash laundry that requires hand washing there and put it straight into the washing machine!
