Special Class | SENSE OF SCENT On a June weekend, once again welcomed by sunny weather, I visited Yeonhui-dong where a perfumery class was being held. (It seems the SC team definitely has a weather fairy!!) It was a time to sample 42 different fragrance ingredients and combine the five scents that appealed to me the most to create my own signature scent. It was my first time experiencing smelling so many scents with such focus, and there were so many scents I liked, that choosing just five was the hardest part 🤭 The name of my completed signature scent is, Fleur d’Ambre, which means "Flower of Amber." I wanted to express the feeling of a flower blooming within warm, powdery amber, but by adding a touch of coolness with a few drops of bergamot at the end, I think the finished scent turned out to be even better than I had imagined. After finishing our scents, we sampled each other's fragrances, and seeing how different scents are created from the same ingredients, made me think that it was just like us. I heard that. And it was also really fascinating that smelling that scent reminded me of the person who made it! While waiting for my turn to be photographed, I enjoyed the fantastic catering you prepared. I was surprised because it was not only beautiful to look at but also delicious. I tried taking self-portraits of the finished perfume, and a professional photographer also took some shots for me. The professional touch was definitely on another level 👍🏻. And at the end, you even prepared a gift package that allows me to enjoy my unique scent in various ways. I was so touched that I can hardly fathom where the thoughtfulness and meticulousness of our SCR team truly lie. I am always so grateful to the SCR team for working so hard to provide such a wonderful experience, and I also want to tell the perfumers and photographers that they worked hard.
