Since this is a 30-year-old apartment, the kitchen tiles really stood out when we first came to see the place. Because it is a rental, we didn't want to undertake major renovations, so my husband and I decided to try DIY installation using adhesive tiles. It was tough, repeating the process of sticking, cutting, and gluing for six hours, but I still can't forget the satisfaction we felt when we first saw the finished kitchen. We love the time we spend after work cooking dinner together or wrapping up the day with a delicious late-night snack, and now that the kitchen looks beautiful, even those ordinary moments feel more special.
