A while ago, it was my husband's longtime friend's birthday, so we visited the restaurant he runs to give him a gift as well. We were enjoying some raw beef and short ribs when he handed me something, saying, "Sister-in-law~" "Your wedding anniversary is coming up soon, isn't it?" he explained. He had kept our wedding invitations safe for a year and had them custom-made into frames to give to us. Wedding invitations are usually just pieces of paper thrown away quickly for date verification, except for the bride and groom themselves... but I, F, was deeply moved once again. My husband always says he married the best among his friends, and he spares no praise for his wife, calling her a truly bright and wonderful person. They are a family I truly want to emulate. Today, I feel a strong urge to live my life giving back as much as I have received such precious kindness.
