My vanity drawer is great in many ways, but it is quite deep, leaving a lot of empty space at the top. While contemplating how to make the most of this ample space, I decided to try organizing it into a 2-tiered, perfectly aligned layout using transparent storage boxes. (My drawer size: 52x32x15cm) I selected items based on the strict requirement of being 'transparent' so I could see exactly what was inside. Tier 1: Covered & Open Trays I placed samples I rarely use or items I had stockpiled on the bottom tier. Originally, I wanted to match them all to the covered type, but to fit the width of the drawer perfectly, I ended up mixing two covered boxes with one open box vertically. Even though I bought them from different places, the height and bottom pattern are identical, making them look neat and like a set. Once I filled the top of the open box with items, it remained stable even with the 2-tier tray placed on top. Tier 2: Modular Tray This is used to hold the cosmetics I use frequently on the top tier. The anti-slip feature is surprisingly strong, so it doesn't wobble at all, even when placed on an acrylic surface. It is also really convenient for easily taking out just the trays you need when applying makeup. If you have been struggling to organize small cosmetics due to deep drawers, I recommend trying this 2-tier configuration with the right size.
