๐ซง Our Bathroom Routine with a 6-Year-Old ๐ซง Since the bathroom is a space we use every day, while it's nice to have a pretty design, safety and comfort have become even more important! I'd like to introduce our bathroom routine, which we've been gradually changing to help my child wash their hands and brush their teeth on their own ๐ค โซ๏ธ Well-Draining Deck Tiles + Gyutojo Mat We laid deck tiles on the bathroom floor and placed a Gyutojo mat on top. It keeps the soles of our feet less damp and allows for good ventilation, making it much more comfortable. Maintenance is simpler than you might think โจ Normally, I just quickly remove hair with a lint roller and lightly wipe it with a wet tissue. I lift it up about once a week to remove dust all the way underneath, and finish with a wet cleaning every two weeks. โซ๏ธ A Small Step Stool Tailored to My Child's Eye Level An essential item for 6-year-old Arin, who still finds the sink too high. Just by placing a step stool, Iโve noticed her trying to wash her hands and brush her teeth on her own more often. โซ๏ธ A small toothbrushing zone tailored to a child's eye level Iโve set up an IKEA toothbrush holder, cup, and mirror all at the child's eye level. Since itโs easy to use, she naturally started tidying up on her own. Today, our bathroom serves as a small practice space where Arin tries things out on her own
