I’ve heard people around me say, “You should do the interior decorating after the kids are all grown up.” Of course, it’s not easy 🥹 But if you’re just a little bit diligent, it’s not entirely impossible. Choosing furniture for a living room shared by three children was inevitably more demanding than ever. I needed a sofa with a flexible modular design that wouldn’t look cramped even with lots of items, and a hygienic one where both the seat and back cushions have removable covers that can be washed anytime 🫧 I needed sturdy solid wood legs to withstand the intense physical contact of my three children and a fabric material resistant to wear and tear. But I couldn’t compromise on aesthetics either. I also had to check if the texture of the cozy boucle fabric would go well with the other furniture and plants 🌿 That’s how I came to find the new sofa, the Chloe Davis Sofa from Rose Mansion 🌹 🛋️ I’m so glad to have found a new ‘place’ where the sound of my children’s laughter and the years of our family’s history will pleasantly be imbued.
