I finally replaced my towels after putting it off for so long, and I'm more satisfied than I expected. I knew that towels need a replacement cycle, but when it actually came time to change them, I kept putting it off. The new towels I got this time are a generous size of 40x90cm, making them comfortable to use, and they shed very little lint, so I am very satisfied with them. Since they are items I use every day, I didn't think I would notice much of a difference, but I can actually feel a difference in texture and usability more than I anticipated.
