#오늘의우리집 Finally, both my child and I have recovered our health, so starting this week, we are catching up on the housework one by one. It really wasn't easy doing all the childcare alone while I was sick. But when my child would playfully tap on the book with a pen, I can't tell you how relieved I was that I was to have even a moment to lie down and rest. I don't practice 100% book-based parenting, but I wanted my child to naturally discover the joy of books, so starting at 5 months old, I took them to a cultural center for "Book & Play" for about a year, and I would read to them and buy them books featuring their favorite characters. As I continued doing that, at some point, they became a child who could read books on their own for quite a long time. Since I am a foreigner, my Korean pronunciation isn't perfect, so my husband usually reads to them, but when he isn't around, SayTalk is a huge help. It also has an AI voice recognition feature, so I can listen to my child's pronunciation and correct it, or help them practice pronunciation. I’m looking forward to it because I think I’ll be able to use it even better if it were a little bigger! 🙈!!
