And next time, I'm thinking of trying tomatoes instead of mango. My mom gave me a huge supply of Toechon tomatoes, so I've been eating one a day lately. She buys them every year, saying they were planted in winter or spring and are ripening around this time, so they taste best when eaten now. Thanks to her, we're enjoying them a lot🥰 Oh, and for mangoes, if you peel the skin first with a potato peeler or vegetable peeler before scooping out the flesh, it comes out beautifully. I found this out recently, but I was surprised to hear that they even have a dedicated tool for peelers and knives locally!
