🛋️ Review of the sofa I’ve been using for 4 years 🛋️ The place where I spend the most time during the day is the living room sofa. When I moved out of a studio apartment right after getting married, there was one dream I really wanted to fulfill: owning a large sofa where I could stretch my legs out and lie down comfortably! So, even though we are a two-person household, after much deliberation, I ended up getting a whopping 5-seater sofa :) That is how I found the Odère Allongé sofa, and I have been using it for 4 years now. Let me summarize the things I liked about using it for 4 years 🫧 ① High versatility of the modular sofa It is spacious enough even for my husband, who is 186cm tall, to lie down on, so it is more than enough for the two of us to spend time together. When friends come over, I sometimes separate the sofa to use it as a simple single bed 🛌 I also place a few books on the wide armrests and take them out to read whenever needed 📚 In particular, I use the corner couch module separately; since the backrest can be detached freely, it is incredibly versatile. I’ve set up a foot bath and stretching zone on one side, and I rotate the backrest whenever I take a foot bath 🤸‍♀️ ② Seating Comfort: Neither Too Soft Nor Too Firm Sofas that are too firm lack comfort, while those that are too soft put a strain on my back. I sat on it several times at the showroom before making my decision, and I am satisfied with it as it has exactly the level of softness I wanted. Perhaps because it is moderately firm, I haven't seen any sagging even after using it for four years. ③ Satisfactory Price Considering Size and Quality The thing that surprised me the most while looking for a sofa was the price. These days, branded sofas tend to be quite expensive, but Oder was relatively more affordable. We even received a newlywed discount at the time, so we purchased the 5-seater configuration for just over 2 million won. (I'm not sure if that discount is still available...!) It is one of the pieces of furniture we are most satisfied with in our home, to the point that even if we went back four years and were choosing a sofa again, we would choose the same one.
