That is because the entire wall was covered in marble 🙄… ✔️What are the benefits of installing marble instead of tile on the walls? First and foremost, it's maintenance and cleaning. I tend to be a bit sensitive about cleaning. The tiles in my previous house were made of a material that was hard to wipe clean; things like wet wipes would leave pulp threads stuck to them ㅠㅠ And if red stains splattered on the grout, they wouldn't come off, which was such a hassle 😂 So, when I had it installed, I insisted that they install solid marble so it would be easy to wipe and maintain. Maintenance has become so much easier, and I am extremely satisfied ❤️ The second benefit is the aesthetics. Since the same marble used for the countertops is applied to the walls as well, it creates a sense of unity. That gives it a very pretty and neat look. It's a simple thing, but it creates a magical effect that looks luxurious ✨ There is just one downside! It's expensive 💸 ✔️ The second item is the installation of a utensil rack. These days, concealing and hiding things is the aesthetic. But as a result, it takes forever just to prepare everything for cooking every day 🥲 I found it a bit inconvenient. So this time, I just asked them to install a utensil rack! TIP: Ask them to add extra hooks. The standard hooks only have about 5, which is woefully insufficient once you start hanging things 😉 I added 10 more, so I had it installed with a total of 15 hooks! ✔️ Lastly, need I say more? Adding electrical outlets! The most crucial part of the installation is, without a doubt, the electricity! Make sure to request additional outlets. In addition to the existing outlets in the kitchen, I had two more added.
