I’ve put together a detailed look at my second child’s play space, which many of you often ask about. Although it is a very small space compared to his older brother’s, I’ve made the most of it! Even though I can’t provide special education or send him to a center, I try to create an environment centered around Montessori and Waldorf toys. With my first child, I used the Korean Montessori Baby series, but for my second, I opted for a more convenient approach—buying just a few individual items tailored to his age. So, I’m currently using a mix of some leftover pieces from my first child plus the newly purchased Toddler House materials. I use baskets to neatly organize the miscellaneous pieces and other colorful toys.🫧 If you decide what kind of toys go in each basket, organizing becomes easy because you just have to snap them in according to their purpose. At first, he mainly plays with the toys that are already out, but later on, he seems to enjoy it more when I take out the toys from the baskets one by one. There is also the joy of experiencing all kinds of pretty baskets while organizing like this—a playroom tidying up infused with a mom's personal touch 👀✨ To wrap things up, I’ve gently slipped in a shot of my second baby playing 👶🏻 Now that they are quite skilled at sitting and crawling, they spend their days playing with toys in this space, exploring every nook and cranny of the house, and cuddling with the family.
