Two years after starting elementary school. The space that changed the most as my child grew was their room. While I used to prioritize creating a pretty room, now I find myself paying more attention to whether the environment allows my child to live independently. My perspective on bookshelves has changed significantly, in particular. Having heard so much about the importance of reading and the need to make children read, I once collected enough books to fill an entire wall. However, I realized that having a lot of books doesn't necessarily mean you will naturally read them. Looking back, my husband and I weren't the type to read often either, so it felt a bit awkward to expect only our child to read. Watching my child, I noticed that the books they always reached for were more specific than I thought, and I frequently saw them reading a favorite book multiple times or rereading the same series. I came to realize that this process, too, is a form of reading unique to the child. So now, I have significantly reduced the number of books and bookshelves. We visit the library frequently, and I only purchase and keep books that they truly love. I am also gradually decluttering the child's room to better suit his taste and lifestyle, rather than filling it with items. #ChildrensRoom #아들방 #아이방인테리어 #아이방꾸미기 #아들방꾸미기 #화이트인테리어 #초2아들방 #초딩방 #초딩방꾸미기 #집꾸미기 #홈스타일링
