Creating my own unique scent was a more special experience than I had imagined. I’ve always loved fragrances and really wanted to try making one myself, so I was thrilled to be able to participate in this special class! I personally selected my favorite perfume bottle, cap, and label color, and smelled each of the 42 scents one by one. I noticed a common thread among the scents I was drawn to (moss, oak, white amber, etc.). They were comfortable woody notes. They weren't too smoky or heavy, but rather scents that evoked a sense of a cozy space. With the help of perfumer Kim Jin-ah, I added a touch of citrus (yuzu and bergamot) to create a summery citrus-woody fragrance—citrus on the top but with a woody base note—and I was truly satisfied with the result :) The flowers prepared in the space and the catering, which was both beautiful and delicious, delighted both my eyes and my palate. It didn't stop at just making the room spray; a professional photographer even took high-resolution photos for us. It was such a valuable experience, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Today's House hosts and staff who prepared everything so meticulously. I was truly touched and grateful for their hard work. Scent changes the atmosphere of a space and brings back memories, doesn't it? Since the weather fairy was with us last Saturday, I think I will remember it for a long time. Have a fragrant and refreshing weekend 🤍 #SpecialCreator #TodaysHouseCreator #TodaysHouse #SpecialClass #KaikaStudio
