These days, this is the first spot I head to when I get off work. While leaning back on the sofa to watch TV or taking a short break while looking at my phone, the day is over before I know it. If there is one thing that has been added to this space since summer arrived, it is a fan. I didn't initially intend to keep it only in the living room. I chose a cordless model with the intention of using it in my workspace during the day, in the living room in the evening, and in the bedroom before going to sleep. Once I actually started using it, I found it more convenient than I thought not having to worry about the location of the power outlet. I just move it to the spot where I spend the most time that day and use it immediately whenever needed. These days, the spot next to the sofa is where I go most often. It circulates the air on days when the air conditioner is on, and adds a gentle breeze on cool evenings. There are certain items in the house that I naturally reach for rather than having any particularly special features, and these days, this fan feels like exactly that kind of thing. Whether it's on days when the air conditioner is on, or on cool evenings.
