📚 The hardest part of organizing my children's books was deciding what to get rid of. I agonized over whether to get rid of books I hadn't finished reading, hoping I would eventually read them, and in the end, I only ended up improving my Tetris skills.🥹 So this time, instead of getting rid of things, I decided to choose which books to keep first. I select the books that remain on our bookshelf based on these criteria: ❶ Books with special meaning I didn't force myself to get rid of books that left a deep impression or became special because I received them as gifts. I found that I ended up keeping these books even after switching to e-books. ❷ Books that changed my perspective or helped me grow I keep books that have had a significant impact on my behavior or thoughts, such as knowledge books, science books, and self-help books. ❸ Favorite books that I read repeatedly These are books I read over and over again simply because they are fun. When I think back to my childhood, the Greek and Roman mythology books I used to read after coming home early from school on Saturdays (…!🙊) were like that, and for me, the Avengers series is that kind of book☺️ ❹ Books to Read Books that I definitely bought because I wanted to read them, but somehow I keep putting off reading. I keep them within the bookshelf's space, display sets together, series together, and stack individual books by height. Among the remaining books, I even create a 'Hall of Fame' section for the ones I particularly cherish, in a visible and within easy reach✨ And I've found that there comes a day when it becomes a little easier to let go of the books that I have cherished and enjoyed so much. When I started thinking about what to keep rather than what to throw away, organizing my books became much easier☺️📚 #CornSoupRecordBook #인테리어노하우 #정리정돈 #심플라이프 #책장정리 #아이방인테리어 #미니멀인테리어
