The Pippi Hideaway Scratcher comes in two options: open and closed. I've been switching between them for a few days and watching, and she's using both well. 😄 It's a ready-made product that requires no assembly, and is 100% made in Korea! Perhaps because it is handmade, it is sturdy and substantial, not light. I actually like it even more because it doesn't slide around even when the cats run up and jump right on it.🤍 It comes in two colors, Natural and Mahogany, but I chose Natural to match it with the height-adjustable dining table I currently use.
