I finally bought the furniture I've been agonizing over for so long! 🌟 Ta-da! It's a glass display case! 🥂 I was torn between changing my record shelf into a vintage cabinet, or shortening the shelf and buying a glass case… If I went with a cabinet, I'd love something made of my dream wood, like charley or teak, but that wouldn't match the style of our current home… My husband and I talked about it for ages, and in the end, we decided on oak, which would match the furniture in our current home! I wasn't particularly fond of just oak, so I narrowed my search to display cases made of oak. I loved the IKEA Stockholm Collection when it was released, and above all, the quality for the price! That was the deciding factor in my purchase. 💯 Displaying things inside the glass gives it a greater "collection" feel, and somehow it feels like it's become something even more precious.
