<Semi-DIY Interior in the 10 Million Won Range | Lighting + Ceiling Fan Edition> ✨ I’ve compiled some great lighting tips I learned while doing the renovation! ✔️ Definitely recommend 2-inch (or 1.5-inch) downlights! → I standardized everything to 2 inches. For the kids' room, aside from the 2-inch recessed diffused downlights, everything else is 2-inch COBs 🩶 → A center spacing of about 18cm looked just right. ✔️ Make sure to include indirect lighting in the curtain box! 🩶 → It feels like the space was made specifically for lights haha → Secure both atmosphere and illumination at once! ✔️ Minimize downlights inside the recessed ceiling → Too many can actually make it look chaotic and cluttered. I put in two since I didn't install lights in the recessed ceiling, but if I had installed lights around the recess, I probably wouldn't have put any inside at all. ✔️ For the dining table light, I recommend 2-inch short cylinder lights 🩶 → It looks neat, and makes the house look wider and more spacious. ✔️ T5 lighting is a must under the mirror cabinet and kitchen upper cabinets! → I couldn't do it myself, so I plan to install it myself later! ✔️ For hallway lights, group them in sets of three along the wall. → It prevents the room from looking bland and significantly improves the atmosphere. ✔️ All kids' rooms feature 2-inch slim recessed lights + curtain box indirect lighting. → The illumination is sufficient and it looks neat.
