Isn't leather the perfect material that gets better the longer you use it? I had been really enjoying my simple and pretty single chair, but since I’ve been trying out the moods I planned for my home decor board at the beginning of the year, I finally brought in a sofa after half a year ✨ From the moment you first suggested this sofa last January, my choice was definitely black! Due to overlapping schedules, I was only able to bring it into my space right now, almost at the end of summer. I’m even more satisfied because the wait was so long 🩶 The Ceres Home Model D sofa features a restrained design combined with the unique grain and natural wrinkles of genuine leather, making it a sofa I look forward to seeing become even more stylish as time goes by :) You know I usually love vintage glossy leather, right? This black version is exactly the mood I was looking for... so I'm so happy...🙈 It adds depth to the space without feeling as heavy as I expected, so it blends naturally with other materials. What I liked most was being able to enjoy the leather aging process that develops with use. Although I love sofas with a substantial mass, I tend to prefer designs where the space underneath is elevated, so I wanted to keep this one. Seeing it in person, I felt I made the right choice. :) Oh, since it's modular, I'll show you how I plan to utilize it in the future! I plan to listen to music here... and read books while lying down... I moved my desk to the study, but the spot on the sofa is so comfortable that it makes me go out of my way to bring out my laptop. It's such a cozy sofa😉 The El Porcelain sofa table I matched with it features a cream color that creates a subtle contrast with the black leather. Perhaps because the table is at a different height, it really adds an extra touch of mood to the space.
