This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the curator program. Since a bed is such a large piece of furniture, the atmosphere of a room can change dramatically depending on the frame. In that regard, I really liked that the Laylay Pixel Spring Hybrid Mattress allows you to create a stylish mood with just the mattress itself, without a frame :) The product I used is the ‘Pixel Spring Hybrid Lay-Z1,’ a mattress with a height of 23cm! Even when placed directly on the floor without a frame, it didn't feel too low; instead, it really brought out the cozy atmosphere characteristic of a low-profile bedroom. My end room is usually decorated with a vintage vibe, and this mattress really matched that space well. The black color with the Laylay logo on the front acts as a focal point, adding a hip vibe! So, I’d say it’s a mattress I would highly recommend to anyone decorating a studio apartment haha. The Lay-Z1 is a hybrid mattress that combines pixel springs and memory foam, and rather than feeling soft and cozy, the firm support it provides to hold your body is impressive. I have always preferred firm mattresses over the sinking kind, so I tried using it in this room for a few days. I was able to sleep comfortably without any back discomfort or stiffness in my body. I was also satisfied that my posture didn't collapse even when I tossed and turned, as it provided stable support. Above all, using it as a low-profile bed without a frame made the room look more spacious, and the unique cozy atmosphere of sleeping close to the floor made me feel like I was getting a much deeper rest.
