Worried that the dark black furniture might make the space feel too dark and gloomy, I keep the room brightened with various lights. At one time, I filled the bookshelves with books and objects, but after realizing the aesthetics of emptiness, I now tuck all the messy items into drawers. I am striving to create a tidy space and a neat home by minimizing the items that are out in the open.
