A Living Room Made More Comfortable by Being Empty When moving into our new home, the most important thing I considered was "emptying rather than filling." I kept the furniture to a minimum and made the most of the spaciousness provided by the wide floors and walls. In the morning, natural light streaming through the window fills the space, and in the evening, indirect lighting softly envelops the house. A single black sofa, a favorite chair, and the view outside the window. There are no fancy decorations, but thanks to that, the light of the seasons and the atmosphere of the day seem to be more visible. A space where I can relax comfortably with my cat, talk with my family, and simply enjoy doing nothing.
