A change has come to my bedroom... 🛏️ While decorating our newlywed home's bedroom with black accents, my biggest concern recently was the mattress and the frame. 🥹 Previously, I used a high mattress on a reddish-tinted wood frame, but even though the bedroom isn't exactly small, the space looked cramped. I felt it every night but tried to ignore it, and naturally, it became a space I rarely took photos of. 〰️ Then, while working on a recent mattress advertisement, a great opportunity came along to upgrade to a Large King size! 🛏️ (I'll bring you more detailed information about the mattress separately soon. 🙌🏻) Since I was changing it anyway, I boldly decided to remove the frame and have been living with it like that. Surprisingly, the frameless setup makes the space look much wider. Best of all, I no longer have to worry about hitting my shins and getting bruises while getting into bed... 🤣 Of course, since it sits on the floor, I think I’ll eventually have to reconsider getting a bed frame due to humidity issues, but for now, I plan to keep the dehumidifier running and fully enjoy this mood.🤎✨ I really agonized over placing the headboard toward the window, but perhaps thanks to the blackout curtains, my husband and I are both satisfied and using it without as much inconvenience as I expected.🥰 However, since this is our first time with a Large King size bed, it is a bit of a shame that the range of bedding options is narrower than I thought.
