This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. Since the cutting board is the first thing that touches food ingredients, you can't just use any board. The cutting board I used previously accumulated a lot of knife marks, and food residue would get trapped in them, so I was always concerned about hygiene. The antibacterial silicone cutting board from Haru-ui Gonggan that I switched to this time is made of platinum-cured silicone rather than TPU. Using medical-grade platinum catalysts, it has no typical silicone odor and boasts incredibly solid durability. As it is 100% domestically produced and BPA-free, I can use it with peace of mind even when placing hot food directly on it. Additionally, it withstands temperatures from -40℃ to 230℃, making it suitable for boiling water sterilization and dishwasher use, which makes maintenance incredibly convenient. These days, I use different colors for different ingredients like meat, vegetables, and kimchi. This helps reduce concerns about cross-contamination, making it much more hygienic. I felt even more confident because it has been verified to have 99.9% antibacterial properties and an A-grade mold resistance. Since it comes with a stainless steel stand, I can simply wash it after use and place it back in the holder; the excellent ventilation allows it to dry quickly. Also, because it is made of rust-free 304 stainless steel, it is great for long-term use. Maintenance is incredibly convenient as there is no need to remove polishing agents, and it can be completely disassembled for cleaning. With a thickness of 5mm, it feels stable when cutting, and thanks to the anti-slip treatment, it sticks firmly to the surface, making it comfortable to use. I also liked that the grooves on the edges prevent kimchi juice or liquid from overflowing.
