Since the house has an unconventional structure, there were places where openings needed to be modified and others where they absolutely had to be opened up, so we gave the walls a good demolition.🥸 Here is the opening removal process, shown quickly so it won't be boring! First, we check if the opening location is appropriate both inside and out. Once confirmed, we drill a hole to verify the position of the space on both sides, and then the demolition work begins! We cut along the opening line and break it out starting from the top with a jackhammer. This takes a long time and generates a tremendous amount of dust, so safety and auxiliary equipment are essential during the work. 🦺Safety/Auxiliary Equipment • Class 1 Dust Mask (P100 / KF94 or higher) • Safety Glasses • Earplugs • Dust Suction Device or Blower • Vinyl Curing If the wall requires reinforcement, H-beams are a must! We just need to work safely so as not to put any strain on the building. The first opening we removed was an internal passageway connecting the spaces on both sides of the second floor; it was so inconvenient having to use the external stairs until now...😩 I can't tell you how emotional I was seeing the wide-open space so we can finally move around inside the house🥹 There is still a long way to go, but I can't express how happy I am that what I wanted most has been completed😍 My whole body is already aching because I have to work hard clearing away the removed rocks, but if I got what I wanted, this much hardship is nothing!!💪🏽 That's my review of being so moved after opening the opening🫡 #OpeningCutting #PureMomentOfMoment
