This was truly the most satisfying DIY renovation I’ve ever done. The atmosphere has changed so completely that people seeing the kitchen for the first time can't even imagine what it used to look like. Since the tiles are actually quite thick, they look much more natural even up close. Cutting them was a bit of a struggle, but that really brought out the authentic tile feel.
