Since a home is a space where you spend a lot of time, I selected each element based on the principle of designs that won't get boring even after looking at them for a long time, rather than something flashy. ① Molding I unified the overall color scheme to PS120. I chose 2-step molding, 3-inch baseboards, and 9mm door frames to create a clean, three-dimensional effect that isn't excessive. As a fundamental element that organizes the overall atmosphere, this was one of the parts I paid the most attention to. ② Interior Door The existing interior door was in good condition, so I decided to reuse it. Instead, I finished the doors in each room with PS120 film to give them a unified look that makes them appear brand new. I thought that utilizing usable parts as much as possible was a way to save on the budget. ③ Tiles For the entrance, I chose Iseul Blanco to create a bright and clean first impression, and for the shared bathroom, I selected Milan Beige to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Since these colors don't go out of style easily, I think I will be satisfied using them for a long time. ④ Shared Bathroom Instead of demolishing the existing tiles, I proceeded with overlaying new tiles and waterproofing the floor. I chose this method because it allows for a clean remodeling while reducing both the construction period and costs. I decided on the America Standard Round for the washbasin, and Eterno adjustable angle products for both the faucet and shower head. I prioritized practicality because of their simple design and ease of use. I removed the bathtub and installed a brick partition to create a shower space. ⑤ Wallpapering For the common areas, I used Diamant Cream White plaster to highlight a subtle texture, while for the bedroom, I selected Besti Natural Stucco in Desert Cream. I wanted to create slightly different atmospheres for the common areas and the relaxation space. ⑥ Flooring I selected Dongwha Natural Flooring Emotion Blanc for the engineered wood flooring. Because it is a bright wood tone, the house looks more spacious, and since the color matches well with any furniture, I don't think I will get tired of it for a long time.
