This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #FiveSensesReview program. This must be the true thrill of things falling perfectly into place according to plan. After installing a painting and frame that perfectly matched the bedroom mood, I achieved the look I had been hoping for, and I couldn't help but give a round of applause. The picture frame of Ilsang Mihak’s Untitle-09 features a combination of black and red burgundy (brick) colors. I thought it would match my bedroom curtains and furniture perfectly, so I hung it in front of my desk—my personal corner space—and the bedroom was transformed into a more aesthetically pleasing room. Just as Ilsang Mihak’s product description states, “Making even a single sheet of paper part of the exhibition,” I truly felt as though my home had become a part of an exhibition space. Having received the product firsthand, I could truly understand what they meant by using paper from INNOVA, a young traditional art paper manufacturer in the UK, to preserve the lingering sensations of the senses that do not fade even in the age of mechanical reproduction. Hanging it above the living room sofa creates a completely different mood for the space. It made me realize once again that the power of art lies in its ability to dramatically transform the interior atmosphere of a home with just such minimal investment and effort. The frame is sturdy and features a black design with a visible wood grain. The back is designed for easy hanging, making installation quick and convenient. You can install it using hooks (I used two), or it works perfectly using the smallest size picture rail. I was also very pleased that the package arrived without any damage; it was shipped in a custom-fit box to prevent the artwork from moving.
