As a self-proclaimed and widely recognized bread lover, I finally visited the famous 'Munhwa Bakery' in Jongno this weekend—a place I had been wanting to go to for so long! Just looking at the breads I packed up, my happiness level skyrocketed even before I started eating. 🥰 Just look at the dazzling visuals of the bread in the photo! As soon as I opened the box, the savory aroma filled the whole house, and it was hard to resist. I picked out breads according to my taste, ranging from glossy garlic bread to chewy and sweet squid ink condensed milk bread, and mugwort rice cake bread topped with plenty of nutty nuts. To fully enjoy the sweet and savory flavors of the bread, I filled a long mug with a cool and crisp iced Americano on one side. In another cup, I paired it with a refreshing and crisp kombucha to balance the taste and keep it from feeling too heavy. Thanks to the combination of iced Americano and kombucha, I could eat the bread endlessly! 🤎 With the food set nicely on pretty tableware and my favorite music playing, I’ve created a perfect home café that makes the weekend time just slip away feel so regrettable. It’s already Saturday, and I’m sad that tomorrow is Sunday.
