A warm soup dish that comes to mind on a rainy day This is a Japanese-style Pot-au-feu with sausage. It is really easy to make, but you will be surprised at how delicious and filling it is. I made this in a #Vermicular Yukihira pot. If you press down on the vegetables while cooking with the drop lid, the sweetness of the vegetables comes out well, making it even more delicious! ┄┄┄➊ Cut your favorite vegetables into large chunks. If you cut the cabbage while preserving the core, it won't fall apart when boiled, making it easier to eat. ➋ Drizzle olive oil in a pot and lightly sauté the vegetables. ➌ Place potatoes, spinach, and sausage on top of the sautéed vegetables and pour in water. Season with chicken stock. ➍ Now, let it simmer thoroughly. It is okay to add so many vegetables that it looks like it might overflow, as they will shrink in volume when boiled. ➎ The longer you simmer, the richer the broth becomes, making it even more delicious. If it lacks seasoning, finish with salt and pepper! It makes for a really hearty meal when eaten with toasted bread topped with whole grain mustard sauce. #MapehaCooking #Yukihira #HomeCooking #SpecialCreator #TodaysHouse #TodaysHouseCreator #CornSoupRecord #OHomstaurant
