Although I don't usually watch TV often, having it in the living room makes me want to turn it on, and for me, working from home, it often became a distraction. I removed the TV from the living room and moved the desk there instead. Working in an open space allowed me to concentrate better than I expected, and it was also great for displaying my favorite objects. In particular, since the desk is height-adjustable, both my husband and I can use it comfortably. We naturally use it when my husband is working after work, and when I am immersed in my own tasks. Thanks to its minimalist design, it fits in well even when placed in the living room. In the past, I thought that workspaces and resting spaces had to be clearly separated. However, as I spent more time working from home, I realized that the space where I work is more important than I thought. The longer I spend in a space, the more I realized that the things my eyes fall upon need to be neat and tidy, and that it shouldn't feel stifling when I briefly look up. Even when my husband and I are together in the living room, we often spend our time separately. I write or organize photos, while my husband reads books or works. Although we do different things, simply sharing the same space gives us a strange sense of stability. On weekends, we sit side by side to enjoy some leisure time, or project movies onto an empty wall using a projector. Perhaps that is why I have come to love spending time in the living room the most these days. It is a space where I can relax comfortably after working hard, and immerse myself again after getting enough rest. Good rest leads to better concentration, and that concentration seems to create new possibilities. What I realized once again while moving was that there was much more stuff than I had anticipated. As I sorted through everything from large items to small ones, I also made a resolution to live a little more tidy in our new home. Even if it takes a little longer, I want to build a home where work and life naturally blend together, at our own pace. #LivingRoomInterior #Desker #LivingRoom #Sofa #Desk #SemiDIYInterior
