I’ve always been very interested in Japanese expressions and emotional copy, so I wanted to read *Japanese Famous Copy Handbook 2*. This book contains 200 famous copies carefully selected by the Tokyo Copywriters Club (TCC), and thanks to the commentary by a current advertising director, I was able to understand the meaning within the sentences, not just the simple translations 🕊️. You can also listen to voice actor narrations via QR codes, which was helpful for studying Japanese as well 🖊️. The phrase that left the deepest impression on me was: 📖 “Goodbye” is a tearful “Thank you.” Although it is a short sentence, it is an expression that captures both farewell and gratitude simultaneously, so it stayed in my memory for a long time. Another one was: 📖 “I like this time between ‘I’m back’ and ‘I’ll be back.’” It was a sentence that made me think again about how precious moments in ordinary daily life are 🫧🤍.
