I absolutely hate seeing wires scattered all over the floor as appliances like fans and humidifiers pile up during the summer... However, with just these cover socks, you can achieve a sleek and sparkling interior. Since it was a buy-one-get-one deal, I'm using them on both my TV stand and my fan, and the difference between having them and not having them is huge. The fan, in particular, used to be messy with its long cord hanging down from being moved around so much. But covering the cord made it look so pretty, like a decorative object! Haha. However, since it is thin and see-through, the white might show through the black wires.
