So, the first thing I chose was a storage bed. Since I can neatly organize seasonal bedding, toys I don't use often, and books in the space under the bed, the room looks much more spacious and cleaning is much easier. I am most satisfied with the increased space utilization because the headboard is a storage unit, so I didn't need to buy additional cabinets. Also, instead of leaving all of my child's favorite dolls out, I arranged only the ones they liked as accent pieces on the bed and shelves. Organizing things so there wasn't too much made the room look much neater. By keeping the large furniture simple and incorporating my child's taste with cute dolls and small accessories, the room became an even warmer and cozier space.
