My house has a gable roof, so the ceiling height is higher than that of a typical apartment. Initially, I only installed the ceiling fan, but the air felt like it was just swirling around at the top, so the coolness didn't reach the floor very well. That is why I chose an 11cm extension pole. After installing the extension pole, the airflow reached the floors much better, and the difference in feel was truly noticeable. Now, when I run it along with the air conditioner, it feels like the cool air circulates throughout the entire house, so I am completely satisfied with it. If you are considering installing a ceiling fan, be sure to check your home's ceiling height as well!! Especially if your ceiling height is around 2.5 to 3.3 meters, you can use the ceiling fan much more effectively with just one 11cm extension pole. I also added an extension pole after installation, but I think I could have reduced trial and error if I had installed them together from the start.
