Since shelves are open, leaving things as they are makes it look messy and bothers me. So, I put my hair dryer and steam iron in a rattan storage box, and I cover the miscellaneous compartments for things like the lint roller and power strip with fabric! I recommend covering up the unsightly parts of your shelves like this...😳 It has an interior design effect and looks great!
