Pea Soup 🫛 I bought peas, so making soup is the unwritten rule, isn't it! 🤭 Creamy, nutty, and with such a wonderful pea aroma 🫛 I grilled a long piece of baguette in butter, dipped it deep into the soup, and took a big bite. Mmm 🤩 (Actually, I grilled two pieces and ate them all..) The cheese baguette, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with plenty of cheese, was unbaked, so the moistness was absolutely amazing, and served in an enamel milk pan with excellent temperature retention so I kept refilling it 😉 I lost count of how many pieces of bread I ate, and the coffee, which refreshed my palate with a pleasant acidity, played a part in this perfect combination 🤍 🔖 Sauté onions in a buttered pan, then dump in the peeled peas, add salt and pepper, and sauté. Once the peas seem cooked, set aside a little for plating.
