Although it is an old house over 40 years old, I never expected a leak, so I would like to share the progress of my first leak repair project. I realized that choosing the right contractor is really important when it comes to leak repairs. I commissioned a local company in my neighborhood to conduct a leak inspection. They suspected the problem was with the hot water pipes, so they removed the oil boiler tank in the boiler room, which was the suspected spot, and dug up the ground, but it turned out that wasn't the issue. ㅠ.ㅠ Thanks to that, I was able to replace the old oil tank with a new one, but it was a waste of money. ㅠ.ㅠ I was even dumbfounded when this company told me that inspecting for a kitchen leak was only possible if I removed all the sinks. So, I commissioned a company from another region that claimed they could conduct leak inspections without removing the sinks, and proceeded with the inspection. As expected, even the equipment was different haha.
