It is none other than the “distance from the downlight.” Because I didn't take care of this, I ended up unable to turn on the ceiling fan in my house while the middle light is on 😭😭 The light brushes slightly against the tips of the fan blades, and the light flickers so much every time the fan rotates... I looked it up online, and it says you need to leave a distance of 30cm to 60cm from the tips of the fan blades to prevent flickering!! In my house, there are two downlights around the ceiling fan; One is almost touching it, while the other is spaced about 10cm away! However, lights spaced 10cm away from the ceiling fan, rather than right next to it, do not flicker, so please keep this in mind when installing ceiling fans. To use ceiling fans comfortably—which are great for both ventilation and atmosphere—make sure to pay attention to the distance from the light!
