Are there no toys at all in the living room? "It’s a house with a baby, so where are the toys?" These are questions I get asked often. The secret in our house isn't reducing the number of toys, nor is it that we organize incredibly diligently. 👉 All the toys are in the baby's room. When we converted the master bedroom into a baby room, we combined the play area with the storage space. Naturally, playtime mostly takes place in the room, and for the toys that occasionally come out into the living room, we gather them all in a basket and put them back in their original place once we're done playing. Thanks to this, the living room, freed from toys, has become a space where the whole family can relax, read books, and spend time together. Maintaining a constantly tidy home while raising a child is difficult, but I found that simply dividing the roles of the spaces made it much easier.
