How to portion out watermelon and enjoy it to the very last bite! Every summer, when you buy a whole watermelon, you enjoy it for the first few days, but there's always that awkward amount left over, isn't there? While using an apple watermelon is an option, I've been portioning it out like this from the start lately 👇 1️⃣ Watermelon for immediate consumption Cut off both ends of the watermelon, and cut the rind from top to bottom. Cut the watermelon to fit the height of an airtight container, and portion it into bite-sized pieces for refrigeration. This makes it convenient to take out and eat, and keeps your refrigerator tidy. 2️⃣ Using it for watermelon juice Try blending the awkwardly leftover scraps of watermelon right away. Since watermelon itself is very watery, it makes for a refreshing watermelon juice 🍉 3️⃣ Freezing in advance if you think you won't be able to eat it all Freeze any watermelon you think you'll have left over in advance. If you blend frozen watermelon as is, you can enjoy it like a slushy or ice cream without ice, making it much more refreshing. 📌 Tip 1. It tastes even better if you add yogurt or lemon juice!! 2. It's also great to eat it with the fruit itself, like in a fruit punch!!! 📌 How long should I keep the portioned watermelon? It is recommended that cut watermelon can be stored for up to 5 days if refrigerated. Dividing a whole watermelon like this allows you to use it until the very end without getting tired of it🍉 And let me give you a sneak peek at a product I'll be introducing soon🤭 A glass blender that reduces worries about odors and staining, and is easy to clean✨ Tefal Blender Up's first exclusive group purchase opens on July 13 (Mon) at 10 AM!
