Living Room Interior for a Home with Children Since I have 8-year-old and 5-year-old children, I'm still carrying around all the baby gear, but I really wanted to bring out the black bookshelf into the living room! Having the bookshelf in the living room encourages the children to read more often, and because the black color balances out the colorful decor, it doesn't clash with the living room interior, so I'm satisfied too! Among all the baby gear, only books in the living room!
