I think it becomes much easier to decide on the placement if you first determine which space or view you want to preserve most in your home when arranging furniture. 2. Empty Space Is Also Part of Furniture Arrangement In the past, I used to feel like I had to put something else in any empty space. However, after moving furniture around, I realized that having just the right amount of empty space makes the living room look more spacious and allows the gaze to naturally flow out the window. Especially for smaller living rooms, I felt that leaving space empty is just as important as filling it. 3. Decide After Living in It, Not Just Looking at Photos Arrangements that look pretty in photos are a bit different from those that are actually good for living in. It was only after moving furniture around several times that I returned to my current layout, where I can see my favorite scenery at a glance when I step into the living room in the morning. Rather than bringing in new furniture just because you don't like it, I think rearranging the position of existing furniture and living in it for a few days is a good way to change the atmosphere of your home.
