My husband is a big eater and tends to eat a lot of soup, so the capacity is just right for making a typical 3-serving portion. Perhaps because it is cast iron, even boiling it for a short while brings out the natural flavors of the ingredients to their maximum, making the broth taste incredibly deep. Mauviel 24 It is a truly versatile all-purpose pan that I reach for every day. I always use it for everything from frying pans and hot pots to soups. It really shines when cooking Western dishes like pasta; it produces amazing flavors without needing to do much, making it a wonderful pan that truly lets me experience the joy of cooking. Stainless Steel Hammered Saucepan This is a daily pot I use lightly every day, for boiling water for tea or cooking ramen when I’m feeling peckish. It is lightweight and I reach for it often. Since each of these tools has a story and shows the wear and tear of use, I feel so proud whenever I look at them.
