The condition of the previous home was a messy, dark tile art wall, covered by a cramped TV cabinet with an awkward height, and cluttered with unorganized items. Since my husband and I were considering remodeling, I think we started thinking about how to change the dark art wall as soon as we signed the contract! A place that doesn't make the house look cramped or stuffy, and can store a lot of books! And I really wanted a sentimental art wall where I could hang my favorite paintings. After much deliberation, drawing and revising the floor plan every day... our home is finally complete! 🙌🏻 We removed the tile finish from the existing art wall, tore down the wall, and created a newly planned niche wall with storage. We used bookshelves on both sides and hung my favorite paintings in the center to create the sentimental art wall I had always wanted. 🙌🏻 Here is a tip! Since many people usually install a TV on the art wall, I unplugged all the cables for the TV connection so it wouldn't be an issue when I put the house on the market later. Also, to ensure there are no problems when installing a TV in the future, I covered the electrical outlets with wallpaper. 👀 Hahaha. How do you like our art wall? ❤️🧡
