There were various options available when we moved in, but after weighing the pros and cons, hardwood flooring seemed like the safest choice! After using it, I have been satisfied with it so far. It doesn't show things like hair falling on it very well, and the price is relatively cheaper compared to other installations. The balance of pros and cons isn't at the extremes; it's average overall, and since it doesn't go out of style, it seems like a safe choice for floor installation. However, if I had to point out just a few shortcomings: 1. When turning the flooring, it makes a clicking sound if you move it against the grain. - At first, I thought it was defective and wondered if I should call for repairs, but it turned out to be a natural phenomenon. The noise isn't loud, but it can be a bit bothersome. 2. It gets scratched and dented easily. It breaks my heart when I drop something and it gets scratched and damaged right away.
